Spiced Play Dough

Fun and tastes good too!

Edible Spiced Play Dough

Make small shapes and then fry them in oil for a delicious snack.

The recipe is fast and simple enough that the kids need only minimal supervision; however, close supervision is needed when frying their creations.

Frying time will be dependent on thickness of shape.

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup water
4 tablespoons vegetable Oil

Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Add water and oil.
3. Knead until dough sticks and forms a ball.
4. Shape and then fry in hot oil.

Hint: Try and not make the shape too complicated or they will not turn out.

*Children should always be supervised when preparing or cooking in the kitchen.
