Easter Animal Crackers

Bunnies and Chicks Animal Crackers

Ingredients:
1/2 cup quick oats
2 teaspoons honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup butter, softened
4 tablespoons buttermilk

Directions:
Place the oatmeal in a blender and blend until it becomes very fine.

In a mixing bowl, stir together oatmeal, honey, salt, flour and baking soda. Cut in butter then add the butter milk, stirring until it forms a soft dough.

On a floured surface, roll the dough out very thin then use Easter designed cookie cutters to cut out the shapes.

Bake at 400 degrees F on un-greased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
