Cheese Eyeballs

Cheese Eyeballs

Ingredients:
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup flour
6 oz jar green olives with pimentos

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small mixing bowl, add shredded cheese and margarine. In a second bowl, combine salt, paprika, and flour. Using a hand mixer, slowly add flour mixture to the cheese and butter just until combined. Measure approximately one teaspoon of the mixture and form around an olive, leaving the pimento facing outward.

Line up the eyeballs on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake for approximately 15 minutes.

You can make these up ahead of time by freezing them on the cookie sheet in their pre-baked form. Once frozen, you can put them in a storage bag to thaw and bake when needed.

*Children should always be supervised when preparing or cooking in the kitchen.
