Apples in Autumn

It's hard to eat apples,
Without my front teeth,
But apples in autumn
Are really a treat.
The apples are squooshy
Down under my feet,
But those from the tree
Are still crunchy and sweet!

Finger Food Recipes

It's a Ladybug!

Ingredients:
2 red apples
1/4 cup raisins
1 tablespoon peanut butter
8 thin pretzel sticks

Directions:
Slice apples in half from top to bottom. Using a spoon, scoop out the cores and seeds. Place each apple half cut side down on a plate.

Put small gobs of peanut butter on to the back of the 'ladybug'. Now, stick raisins in the peanut butter for spots. Do this to make the eyes too.

Stick one end of a pretzel stick into a raisin, then press the other end into the apples to make antennae.

*Children should always be supervised when preparing or cooking in the kitchen.
